This helpful video by Nev shows you all the steps to lift your Hijet by two inches, which is invaluable as the Hijet 2 inch lift kits do not come with written instructions!
Great thanks to Nev for such a useful video.
This is an excellent instructional video. On a lifted Hijet you will be looking for the reverse of what is being achieved here on a lowered car, ie you will want the top of the wheel to come in towards the body. The procedure is still the same but you will change the rotation of the camber bolt as needed.
We recommend doing alignment after fitting the bolts and a mechanic having a look over the front suspension and giving their blessing would give extra peace of mind.
Such a brilliant addition to any Kei truck. The rack telescopes in and out so it is adjustable for standard and Jumbo trucks.
Make sure you have an assistant when you build your carrier as one handed will result in scratches when mounting!
Great for protecting your truck from rough terrain and gravel.
These should be easy to fit but in reality, on the front arches, only the top line of tape sticks onto the truck as the lower line is too low!
Be prepared to completely reattach the piping/seal with alternative glue as it will not want to stay put. You're quite likely to need some yacht adhesive to properly attach the leading edge of the front arches.
A brilliant addition to any kei truck that needs an extra foot or so. The rear lights remain visible under the extender with the tailgate standing flat.
Yes you can fit a towbar to your Hijet. Generally there is no tow weight on the VIN tag as there would be for European vehicles but suppliers recommend towing a maximum of 500kg (we'd suggest 400kg).
This guide is for the Sun Auto/Sunrise tow bar. It is a great piece of equipment but unless you do have to grind/cutting metal in a confined space. You also need long/extended/right angle adapter for up to 13mm drill bits.
Also bear in mind that the tailgate will hit the towbar when it is lowered so you may want to invest in some thick self adhesive rubber strips.
